I posted the following platform idea to the RNC’s National Security Issues platform at 2:07 PM on July 23rd:
Pay our dues, in full, to the UN. Multilateralism is an effective show of strength, around the world and here in the US. This strength requires (a relatively small) financial commitment to the UN and overwhelming support to its goals. The GOP platform MUST emphasize engagement in global matters through engagement in the United Nations. In addition to our regularly assessed dues, UN Peacekeeping is the single least expensive national security activities available in today’s world.
I am also planning to post this idea to OnDayOne.org - Another good site for the National Committees to check out for platform suggestions.
